As expected, we woke up to more snow.
Thanks for everyone’s suggestions yesterday! We ended up taking a trip to a bouji toy store to buy bubbles. The young clerks quickly fell under Baby’s Aveno scented spell. They were bustling around the store picking out things for Baby to try. “We’re really just here to buy bubbles.” Then they looked at me like I cut one. But that’s their ploy right? To make you feel like you’re not a good parent if you don’t buy your kid everything they pick out?
As sad as it is to admit, I think bubbles are still a bit advanced for Baby. She didn’t really watch them in the air with glee, like I hoped. I tried blowing some directly at her. They popped and splashed on her face. She was not happy… But, I think she did like when I would catch a single bubble on the wand and bring it close to her, because she did her ’80s Workout Video arm circles, then popped the bubble.
